Microreactor technology and microfluidic systems are increasingly important tools in biotechnology, enabling precise control of reaction conditions, efficient process intensification, and integration of analytical and bioprocess steps. The IMTB conference series provides a platform for researchers from academia and industry to present and discuss recent advances at the interface of microfluidics, life sciences, analytics, and bioprocess engineering.

The scientific programme of IMTB 2026 will cover topics including enzymatic microreactors, cells within microdevices, analytical and medical microdevices, as well as bioprocess intensification and integration in microdevices. The conference will offer opportunities to exchange ideas, present new research, and strengthen collaborations within the international microreactor and biotechnology community.
