ESAB has been founded in 1980 and has the mission of promoting the development of Applied Biocatalysis throughout Europe. The aims of ESAB are to promote initiatives in areas of growing scientific and industrial interest of importance within the field of Applied Biocatalysis.

Individuals from all over the world who have expertise and interest in the field of biocatalysis and its applications are invited to join ESAB and are welcome to submit online their application form to the ESAB Office. Personal Membership is free. Personal Members will receive the ESAB Newsletter and they are preferentially informed about the ESAB activities.	Companies as well as academic, governmental, research and other public Institutions whose activities are related to the field of applied biocatalysis, are welcome to apply for Institutional Membership. Included in this membership are: Free access to the ESAB Digital Platform for all employees (only Premium) Free banner advertising on the website and the ESAB Digital Platform Possibility to hold own webinars on the ESAB Digital Platform at reduced cost Exclusive access to interesting sponsorship offers at reduced cost Exclusive Opportunity to rent a permanent exhibition booth at the ESAB Digital Platform at reduced cost and much more

ESAB Institutional Membership
Institutional membership has been established as a new membership category. Academic, governmental, research and other public Institutions as well as private companies based inside or outside Europe and whose activities are related to the field of applied biocatalysis, are welcome to apply for Institutional Membership.
