Ginkgo Bioworks is a platform bioengineering company with the mission to make biology easier to engineer. Our scientists leverage a large proprietary metagenomic library, a suite of AI/ML models built through our collaboration with Google, and massive datasets from previous enzyme discovery and engineering campaigns. In this talk we'll walk through case studies that highlight Ginkgo's differentiated enzyme services.
Cindy Chang, PhD, MBA completed her PhD at the University of California at Berkeley, studying copper amine oxidases with Prof. Judith Klinman. After working as an industrial enzymologist in biofuels, she returned to complete her MBA at UC Berkeley. Since then her career has focused on finding and supporting commercial applications of enzymes in the pharma and diagnostics markets. She is currently Senior Director of Business Development at Ginkgo Bioworks.
